Congressman Baird Donates Books to the Williamsport-Washington Township Library

Congressman Jim Baird (R-IN-04) today donated books from the Library of Congress’s Surplus Books Program to the Williamsport-Washington Township Library. The Surplus Books Program allows Members of Congress to donate excess books not needed for the Library’s own use to eligible organizations in their districts. “It is a privilege to donate these books to the Williamsport-Washington Township Library,” said Congressman Baird. “I’m proud to partner with the Library of Congress as we work to build out collections and libraries by expanding access to literature in our 4th District communities.” Congressman Baird previously donated books to the Boys and Girls Club of Boone County in Lebanon and the Boys and Girls Club of Club of County in Frankfort.
