Zionsville, IN - Today, Congressman Jim Baird (IN-04) met with members of the Zionsville High School Young Republicans to discuss challenges facing Indiana’s youth and listen to their perspective on the issues facing our country.

“It is a privilege to meet so many dedicated students eager to make an impact on their state and their country,” said Rep. Baird. “These young Americans represent the next generation of leaders who will one day inherit our country. It is vital to mentor young Hoosiers and cultivate their interest in government. But more importantly, we must also listen to their concerns. America will have a bright future if students like these decide to make a career in public service.”

Zionsville High School Young Republicans have hosted several prominent Indiana Republicans over the past year, including former Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Mike Braun. The Indiana Federation of Young Republicans provides a unique opportunity for conservatives to develop their leadership skills, meet key public figures, discuss their shared interests, and shape public policy.
