This afternoon, Congressman Jim Baird (R-IN-04) was sworn in as a Member of the 116th United States Congress. This marks the beginning of his first term representing Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District. “It is an honor to represent all Hoosiers from Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District,” said Congressman Baird. “I will continue to work hard every day to champion the causes of freedom and good government, so that Hoosiers can continue to build better lives for their families.” Before winning election to the United States House of Representatives in November, Congressman Baird served in the Indiana General Assembly. Congressman Baird is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, where his distinguished service to our Country was recognized with a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. The 4th Congressional District encompasses 16 counties throughout west central and north central Indiana. ### |
