Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Jim Baird (IN-04) released the following statement on the FBI's raid of former President Trump's residence in Mar-a-Lago:

“The raid on a former president’s home is unprecedented in American history," Congressman Baird said. "Regardless of any ongoing investigations, weaponizing any Federal agency against political opponents is wholly unacceptable, and we must work to restore trust in and nonpartisan standards to our Federal law enforcement.”
